Just noticed this one for the first time since applying updater 2 so i am
unsure if it was occurning prior or not. My gut feeling is that it was not,
but since i no longer have a copy of updater 1 i have no way to test this
any longer.
When comparing two dates that are different only in time, ie. {ts
'1899-12-30 00:05:00'} and {ts '1899-12-30 00:09:00'} cold fusion always
returns 0 (or a match) when using any of the "time" date parts. When the
dates are different the comparison works but when you are checking for time
differences it always returns zero.
dateCompare("{ts '1899-12-30 00:05:00'}","{ts '1899-12-30 00:09:00'}","n")
The workaround so far has been to use datediff() as it seems to still work
properly. However, it is going to take some time to go through all our code
and repair this issue. Was this something that was always broken and we
just missed it or did this break in Updater 2?
