We have the developer version of that (although it may not be the current
version) here. It allows unlimited copies on a single box -- edit the code
all you want as long as you leave the product info at the bottom.

Personally, I don't care for it. There are a great many things that they do
right, but there are a few things that are glaringly wrong. For example,
when looking thru the code it appears that they never NEVER lock session
variables. Ick. And there were a few other inconsistencies that I can't
remember off the top of my head. :-) I just remember that there was some
really wierd stuff about their code.

At one point, I needed some very basic forum stuff, but needed to use a
specific interface (I'm working with designers) and needed to allow access
to forums based on a single login (instead of a password for each forum) so
I ended up writing my own from scratch. It turned out to be /much/ easier
than editing theirs.

I guess this would be an OK base if they let it go open-source. It's got a
lot of nice features. But the fact that you have to edit the code to make
it run properly doesn't make it a 'good' product in my mind.
