No, there are no conflicts. I currently have PHP4, CFMX and .NET running on
the same server with no issues.

 3. If I teach myself PHP can I co-mingle  PHP and CF on the same page?
I do not think you can do this. PHP pages have a .php extension, and CF
pages have the .cfm extension. How would CF know to render a block of code
that is coded in PHP? All it is seeing is the .cfm extension.

I am not sure on questions 1 and 4.
