Hi again,

I'd like to publicly thank Jochem for pointing me to the right information
to get this API properly licensed -- it is now distributed under the GNU
Lesser General Public License 2.1 which allows the API to be used within
commercial products, provided those products are not derivatives of the API.
In other words, you can't put a shell and label on the API and sell it --
but you can sell forums applications, cms, etc, which require the API to
function.
