I ran a Perl script on my server which, at a set interval, would wake up and check to see if my IP address had changed. The script was able to query my router (Linksys BEFSR41), retrieve the new IP address and post it to dyndns.org where my account would be instantly updated. It worked flawlessly for about a year (and still probably would be working if my server were still up). All this was on a Linux server, so I don't know what kind of solutions are available for Windows platforms, but all the integration scripts were third party, so I'm sure there are plenty of solutions available.
