You have certainly installed the .NET Framework, as others have pointed out.
Whenever you install .NET Framework on a machine running IIS, it'll install
ASP.NET, and set up the aspnet_client directory within each IIS virtual
server.

Now, the .NET Framework is nearly 20 Mb, so it's not usually going to slip
by unnoticed. Also, it's a separate download, and I don't think you can
install it with other Windows updates.

Finally, it won't interfere with your CF 5 or CFMX applications. If you
like, you can delete it from the Control Panel, or leave it there.
