William, I think you're missing the point of the article. :) Anyway, I just thought it was nifty/cool/fun thing, that's all. I'm not really a big fan of Pennmush.. I prefer MUX or TM3 for some reason. I was just trying to state in the article, you can do a lot of crazy extra stuff with cfmx & java integration. Just a matter of sitting down and figuring out the problem. As I also mentioned in the article, I might not even need the MySQL support anymore now that the java api can log in and kick off commands (it can also send information). At any rate, it's a fun little project.
