Not usually. FYI COM in MX is based on j-integra
www.intrinsyc.com/products/j-integra/

As a matter of interest, try wrapping the COM in a cfc and see if that
improves things. It has help some other memory release issues with cfhttp /
cfftp. If it works, please let us know!
