I wouldn't know about that - I wouldn't attempt to remove it, myself. I just
try to avoid having it usable from a production server console.

I used to also, but I'm getting better about that, especially on production
servers, where I typically can't use it anyway, due to general outbound
restrictions at the firewall (which is usually out of my control anyway). As
for using it for local testing, that doesn't require an outbound connection,
if you're running it from the server console against which you're testing.

In general, too, if there are network issues, I'm not going to want to use a
standard browser to diagnose them.
