I haven't tuned the word/postscript/ghostscript combo to the max, but the problem I am seeing is not the compability/conversion (works fine) but the compression of images (not super quality, and large file size) and also the colors (should be fixable by tuning the color profile with the printer driver). Oh, and there might be problems with the fonts (mappings need to be set up).
