I think something to do with having the request timeout set high, the page hiccups and
loses the form info. But the query I run is based on that form info, so it had it at
one point and issues the query to Oracle. When the records are coming back down, the
page dies.

I wasn't attacking, I thought maybe with the big honkin remark you wouldn't mind a
little kidding around. I've worked for super small companies(5 people) before, and
both have their advantages. And judging by the potty mouth, maybe you got a little
hot under the collar, so I'll retract my statements about the company name, which I
don't think was a dis to begin with though.

I will say that the mail servers aren't smart enough to know if I'm posting to a
external mailing list or that I'm an employee that doesn't deal with stock info. And
I feel that it is needed legally for potentially sensitive data. Feel free to rip on
my company's disclaimer, I don't mind.

My final response, you started it!!

The missing fields thing is strange. I would think as long as it was part
of the same request, regardless of the query or other server side
operations, the form vars would still be intact.

And as for your little dis of my company name & size. Our foremost product
is http://www.logiforms.com, not bad for a "small" company eh? Got anything
better? And our company name, while I know you don't know any better, is
named after maracas beach in Trinidad where I spend my vacations and has
jack shit to do with "macromedia". AND... I don't care how big the company
you work for is, posting to a list with a disclaimer that is predicated
with "This message is for the named person's use only.." when your post is
to a list of thousands, does not make any sense. Or can you justify it...
as opposed to turning around and attacking my companies name and our size?
