What version of CF are you running?  I think there are issues in CFMX, but I was able 
to get it to work with MX after having issues in 4.5.
You just need to remove the period, page.cfm?Requesttimeout=500

Seems like i remember seeing something about this not too long ago but I
can't find anything in the archives....

I have a section in my admin tools where the user can upload registration
forms for events that they are holding.
The forms are always pdf documents. I don't have any problems but I believe
the client is timing out while uploading the files since they are on 56k.

wasn't there something like page.cfm?Request.timeout=
or maybe some other way to ovverride the time out so they can have emough
time to upload the files?

they are not only on dialup....but a dial network with about 10 people on
