Do you need access to the whole server or just the CFAdministrator? If the whole server, then you need to know if they are using anything like PCAnywhere or if win2k you can use Terminal Services Client to connect to the server.
If just the CF Administrator, you need the ip address of the server and the password and you can enter via browser, ie: http://123.12.12.123/cfide/administrator/index.cfm (fake ip obviously) ~~ Stephenie Hamilton Macromedia Certified ColdFusion Professional CFXHosting -----Original Message----- From: Dave Lyons [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Tuesday, February 11, 2003 12:16 PM To: CF-Talk Subject: accessing cfmx admin remotely my host admin has asked to find out if I can remotely access cfmx on the server so that I can set it up how I want it and so I can do all the bd connections and such. anyone got any suggestions on how I do that?
