I think this will be a fruitless quest, but here goes. I've been doing a lot of back-end Java development for a couple of my CF apps (running on CFMX). I was wondering if there is a place to put your .java files to have them be automatically compiled by the underlying JRun server, rather than compiling them separately, copying the .class files to the webroot, and then having to restart the server.
I obviously write a driver in Java for testing, but during integration with the CF front-end, I usually end up needing to make small changes to the back-end, and it's a pain in the ass to have to restart CF every time. Basically I'm looking for something analogous to autocompilation of jsp or cfm files, if something like that exists. thanks, barneyb --- Barney Boisvert PIER System, Inc.
