I was able to get it to work with the above configuration by moving the cfform.js file out of the CFIDE directory (or, even better, creating a symbolic link to the file) and referencing it through the scriptSrc attribute of the cfform tag. Also, Macromedia is aware of the problem on our site and it will be fixed soon.
