Jezz, they want money, don't they? So, I'm running Win2000 Pro and IIS on my dev machine. What keeps me from putting the computer in the car and carrying it down to my local hosting company and hooking it up to the net to run some client sites? I paid for all that software - but I can't use it exactly the way I want without coughing up more $.
