I have a jsp/servlet application that I am executing through MX
enterprise, Solaris, Apache 2. Everything executes correctly until the
jsp called from the servlet encounters a jsp:include. At this point the
application throws an IllegalStateException. This occurs regardless of
whether flush is true or false. I've tried several workarounds,
including including a .cfm with GetPageContext().include("file"). The
only way to get an include to work on this .jsp is with an include
directive, which isn't useful as it isn't dynamic.

I've posed this question on Macromedia's web forums with no response, so
I was hoping that someone out there in the community may have an answer.

Why is the IllegalStateException occurring? (The app worked under
TomCat, so I don't think it's a code issue)
Is this just an MX "bug"?

Has anyone come up with any viable workarounds to dynamically include
jsp pages from a jsp page included via a servlet?

Any help or information would be much appreciated.

Thanks,

Anthony
