Thank you for your helps. I think I had it working. This is what I did:

Frame1 Action Script
===============
function doSomeStuff() {
 _root.goToAndStop(2);
}
_root.stop();

Frame 2 Action Script
===============
function doOtherStuff {
 _root.goToAndStop(3);
}
