I have a task that needs to be done. We have a web based paging server then sends out pages to the appropriate people based on a lot of info. We have a need to send pages out when information comes through the system that is deemed special. I have 2 questions, the first being, the website thats used to send out the alpha pages uses client variables. Making the page that sends the pages out depend on recieving a valid cookie through the url. I have it working where we have turned on the session timeout to be forever so that when I use the cfhttp tag it will work because I copied a valid url (with cookie). Of course this can't stay forever because the server is rebooted quite often making my url that I use to send the pages invalid. Any ideas on what I should do....I am lost as this email can tell!
