Hmmm... didn't realize that you could do that in admin. Obviously haven't been spending enough time in there lately... I agree that it makes sense. I was disabling rights in SQL Server, not in CF admin. However, that confuses me. Then what is the point of doing so? I assumed that this was done in the event that the web server had been compromised. That was they would not be able to alter the queries in the templates and thereby do damage. Is CF Admin all that safe under those circumstances? Obviously, if they get in there, one little click and they have complete access again. Security is only as good as a password...
