The only thing I can recomment is MS Visual SourceSafe and STRICT coding practices
(you can code in this folder, this folder is the sacred gold copy, etc.). Take a look
at sourcesafe if you haven't already, and implement good practices thru your
organization.

Now I am very frustrated. I have been working with CF and CF Studio =
since 3.1 came out a couple years back. I always work by myself on =
projects so I never had to figure out a methodoly to collaborate with =
people who will work on the same files as myself. Using Visual Source =
Safe and CF Studio 4.5.1 I created a project and enabled source control =
thinking that this would work well. I was mistaken. =20

First of all when you create a folder within a project a physical folder =
is not created. Secondly, you have to create a file and then added it =
to the project and not vice versa. Thirdly, there is no refreshing =
ability for a project so when a user adds a file to the project you have =
to close it and reopen it to see the changes. Lastly, the interface is =
just not intuitive. There leaves to much room for errors to occur.

Not to give any points to Microsoft but Interdev is very good at working =
with projects. All of the above works seamlessly with Interdev.

To paraphrase my almost converted CF superior who is an MCSE "There is =
still work to be done." I have to find a solution to this problem or he =
will never let this one down.

My question, does anyone have a solution using the above mentioned tools =
or others that will make it easy for a group of individuals to work =
together on the same project using source control of some type? =20

Thank you for taking the time to read and respond to my message.

Sincerely,

John Jonathan Kopanas
