I am not sure what kind of environment you have..
Can you use ODBC instead of native drivers, perhaps native drivers are
better but try ODBC..
I guess you running Oracle on a separate box.
1.Are both of your boxes on the same domain? CF server and oracle...
2. Do you have a good fast network?
other than the above , i really cant think of anything else..
I have brought down more than 50,000 record in less then 5 seconds.. soo..
Good guess should be the network or ODBC/OLEDB driver
