Philip, I tried sending 5 emails from my CFMX box and all 5 were sent as expected. I then tried from my unix/cf5 box and i only got emails 1 and 5. 2-3 never got delivered. Does this sound like the same problem? Also, does this 0-byte email affect ALL cf5 platforms? Or only under certain conditions?
