Yo.

Has anyone used soEditor to use plain text rather than HTML? I want to
be able to use the c&p, undo/redo etc funcionality but to edit plain
text not HTML.

I guess it could be done by forcing the user into the "HTML edit" mode
(i.e. not WYSIWYG), but I can't figure out how to do that, and it still
tries to be clever and removes "unwanted" whitespace and HTML-ifying
things like the & symbol into & ...

Any suggestions?

After looking things over, the best solution I could come up with is to
simply strip out the HTML at the end. As such, does anyone know where I
can find an HTML2text CT or UDF? Something that will convert <br>'s to
newlines, HTML entities such as &amp; to their ASCII equivalent etc?

Cheers,

Tim.
