Most shared hosting servers by default sort of dump all your files directly in the web root and when you ftp in to your account, the web root is the highest directory you can access... I wouldn't personally have any problems changing ISP's if I felt like I needed a different setup and the provider weren't willing to make that happen for me, however, I'm not about to make that assumption for an application that I intend to sell just because I don't want to potentially have to tell a customer or potential customer that they have to either "deal with it" or change isp's. As a matter of fact, in spite of all my efforts I had to say roughly that to a customer recently as a result of his large hosting provider disabling cfcontent on their shared servers. Customers hate that. I just hate unhappy customers. ;) s. isaac dealey 954-776-0046 new epoch http://www.turnkey.to lead architect, tapestry cms http://products.turnkey.to tapestry api is opensource http://www.turnkey.to/tapi certified advanced coldfusion 5 developer http://www.macromedia.com/v1/handlers/index.cfm?ID=21816 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/index.cfm?forumid=4 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/index.cfm?method=subscribe&forumid=4 FAQ: http://www.thenetprofits.co.uk/coldfusion/faq Get the mailserver that powers this list at http://www.coolfusion.com Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.4
