I'd like everyones thoughts and experiences with CFMX - with and without the
updates (they're up to 3 already).

When I initially did some testing about 2 months ago I thought it was
horrible because every time I hit any CF page, it hit 100% cpu usage to
compile it then it served it to the browser.

I have a VERY large, VERY important project coming up and the people who
setup the server installed CFMX instead of CF 5 like I asked, but I want to
know if it's worth it to keep it. The site is an intranet site with a
maximum load of probably about 500 - 600 people at a time - which I don't
expect to ever reach that, but of course I want to program for the worst
case scenario.

The site will be very database insensive (MS SQL 2000) - displaying current
news and events, having community and personal photo galleries, classified
ads, file depots, community and personal calendars, message boards, product
catalogs, chat, instant messaging, live video broadcasts, and bulk email.
And that's not even all of it, so you can see how I need this to perform
very well.

Please respond with any information you have, any ideas, etc.

Thanks in advance,

Joe Potenza
