Everyone,

We have experienced some really weird client scope variable errors. We
would set a client variable on 1 page post a form and get a new
CFID/CFToken... thus our client variable was gone!

Here is an example from a CFTry/CFCatch email:
Before posting form:
        Browser: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.1; .NET CLR
1.0.3705)
        Cookies: CFID=1198655;
CFTOKEN=13ca1b98d33fe622-98981A1A-B0D0-F019-0275A49C2138964A
        Server: RED
        IP: 204.186.217.33

After posting form:
        Browser: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.1; .NET CLR
1.0.3705)
        Cookies: CFID=1140359;
CFTOKEN=928016b094423a27-7A3529AC-B0D0-F019-02FBC293345DA9F7
        Server: RED
        IP: 204.186.217.33

You will notice that my IP hasn't changed. Nor has the server I am on (we
have 3 in our hardware loadbalanced cluster). But my CFID/CFToken has....
any ideas why? This took us many hours to understand why it was breaking.

This seems to me to be a bug (I guess I should test this on our RedSky beta
as well). Macromedia can you chime in on this please (in a clustered
environment we rely on client variables)....

Server Setup: Win2K servers, Apache 2.044, JRE Sun 1.4.1.02, SQL Server

Thanks,
Jeremy
