Hey, As usual checking out what the guru's are talking about... downloaded Mozilla Firebird.... guess what..... doesn't work on our internal network...(altho works on all our pages before the proxy/firewall)!!!!
Not very good.... does it use a different port number from IE? Speaking to our network geezers and getting them to download it, all went well on his DMZ machine... no joy on mine tho. They offered to open up a hole on the firewall for me so I could browse with it, but I declined because that's not the point of the browser. Not wanting to get into the details about it all, but if it want any sort of acceptance, surely it needs to work in the sort of locked down environment that I work in. Is this a bug? Can I test for this some other way? Cheers DC ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/index.cfm?forumid=4 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/index.cfm?method=subscribe&forumid=4 FAQ: http://www.thenetprofits.co.uk/coldfusion/faq Signup for the Fusion Authority news alert and keep up with the latest news in ColdFusion and related topics. http://www.fusionauthority.com/signup.cfm Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.4
