Hey Lincoln,

Go to FigLeaf and checkout the various Flash lists they have
(chattyfig.figleaf.com I think). Chat with a guy on the lists named Jesse
Warden....he is hands down "Da Man" for Flash.

Aslo sheckout the latest DRK and some of it's components. Flash is quickly
moving towards a client/server (ala PowerBuilder) type interface design.
You can just drag form elements on to the stage and set a bunch of
properties (like required...datatype...masks...etc.) and use them pretty
quick without having to write all the ActionScript to do that stuff you
would have previously had to do.

HTH

Cheers

Subject: SOT: CF and Flash MX Forms

> I'm looking for some resources, articles, whitepapers, etc. on Flash MX
Forms. Basically we're using Oracle Forms right now for our web
applications, but we're considering a complete re-design of the whole app.
I've heard some good things about Flash forms, but need something somewhat
concrete to take to the design team if I'm going to suggest changing our
main development and deployment platform.
