I always found the Wrox books to be quite good, to be honest tho, sounds like it's not the web development side of things but the VBScript side of things for syntax that you need, so I would maybe concentrate on a wee book on VB Script.... all other stuff you can just glean from websites...
Good luck, ASP sucks... it takes absolutely ages to do anything.... I can give you my ASP code library for you peruse/hack if you want? Wouldn't be able to email you it until tonight tho but it has all sorts of stuff that you will take for granted in Cold Fusion but just isn't there in ASP... VB Script is a very spartan (sub)language..... Also, you can do a google for the VBScript Help documentation, again, can send you a copy when I get to my home machine if you can't find it....
