Barney, Thanks, that was it. I copied the file from a backup and everything works now.
I just wish I knew why files are disappearing. First, the Application.log file disappears at random (but usually around the time of a cf crash) and now the dump.cfm file. What next. That directory is like the custom tags directory, except it's for the built in CF tags that are implemented with native CF.
