if you've got a test box, you can simulate this stuff with...that would
really be the
best and probably *only* way you could do so, without any major hiccups.

I have .net on my devbox, with all kinds of cf stuff on it, no .net
stuff, but that
doesn't matter...and I don't have any performance issues...but then
again, I have installed
xp perfect on my machine 10 times, and 1 time it didn't...so...you take
the risks and weigh
them, against your business longevity plan :)

its m$ you know the caveats!

Subject: Run .Net and CF5 apps on same server?

I have a win2k server running CF5. I have one ASP application and about
20 CF sites running with out any problems. The guys who developed the
asp app want me to put .Net 1.1 on the server so they can make some
enhancements to the site.

Here's my question. Is the .Net frame work going to cause any issues
with performance on my server? I don't know if it's a resource hog or
can play nice with everything else. Any thoughts or advice on this will
be a big help.
