it seems fine...I have passed it thru URLEncodedFormat and the ASP script
seems to be working it out ;-)

We are about to upgrade to 5 on the production with MX planned for 10 months
time!

I feel your pain. I'm on 4.5 too for our production site, and it's killing 
me. So just forget the auto-URL encode part, because 4.5 doesn't do that.

However, that being said, did you try using the listChangeDelims() function 
to a temp variable before the cfhttp call and then passing in the temp 
variable? Again, just something to try...can't say that's the solution.
