I dunno... this is turning into personal remarks and we are on talk here
but uh... I really hate it when I try to discuss a bug and am airily told
well, stuff happens. I remember spending a whole weekend trying to set up
mysql because the hosting guy said "just type this and it will work," and
rushed out the door at 4:30 on a Friday. On Monday it turned out that he
had misunderstood my setup. Well, I was evaluating them and guess what, we
are with someone else now. I remember doing QA and the developers saying
well no wonder it crashed. Yeah, it crashed, gave an incomprehensible
message and lost all data. While it may be reasonable at times for things
to not work or to crash it is really really nice when the user gets a clue
what is wrong :P

I guess I am saying that if it's supposed to work on XP, then it should. If
a significant number of people have trouble installing it then that's a
problem.
