I think Tony's point wasn't that he was so great or Mike was not-so-great, but to provide positive feedback to the MM folks that hey, not everyone is having problems.
This doesn't diminish Mike's problems, or his friend's problems, but does help provide a balanced viewpoint on the installation issues surrounding CFMX on XP. Overall, problems seem to be in the minority. That doesn't mean they don't suck when they happen, it just means that most folks can expect a smooth install. There is nothing to get worked up and angry about for anyone here. Just as an FYI, It installed fine on numerous XP boxes for me as well. And I'd like to echo Tony's sentiments that CF rocks!
