Hello,

Using javascript to redirect and an example of the URL is as below.....

/dev/cmquest/disp_cm_reports_controller3.cfm?type=Module&scope=Faculty&y
ear=2002&crs_id=&mod_id=&blkper=&sch_id=&fac_id=D&dpt_id=&report=Summary
&title=Faculty%20of%20Design%20&%20Technology&quest_id=121&refurl=http%3
A%2F%2F10%2E12%2E1%2E162%2Fdev%2Fcmquest%2Fdisp%5Fcm%5Freports%5Fquestli
st%2Ecfm%3Ftype%3DModule%26scope%3DFaculty%26report%3DSummary%26year%3D2
002%26fac%5Fid%3DD%26sch%5Fid%3D%26crs%5Fid%3D%26mod%5Fid%3D%26dpt%5Fid%
3D%26blkper%3D%26title%3DFaculty%2520of%2520Design%2520%2526%2520Technol
ogy%26error%3Dtrue%26RequestTimeout%3D1000

I realise that the URL is never meant to be more than 255 chars, is that
still a valid assumption with todays technology?
Will it break the Javascript location.href?
Can CF handle a URL string of any length?

Cheers

DC
