I personally would't try this with CFML (although it could be done).   We
have a CFX tag that can do this (CFX_ODSBase64).  This tag can encode or
decode Base64 strings.  If you're interested I put it up on our ftp server
so you can download.  You can download from:

CFX: ftp://ftp.hoot.com/pub/ods/cfx_odsbase64/CFX_ODSBase64.dll
Example: ftp://ftp.hoot.com/pub/ods/cfx_odsbase64/base64.cfm

P.S.

A small plug - inFusion Mail Server 1.3 and inFusion POST Server SE 1.3 were
