We have a website which previously used cookies for client management. Due
to government concerns we must eliminate the use of setting cookies. Does
anyone have a suggestion to set "client. privileges" after a logon to the
application, or a way to set a variable to a given value for the length of
the session.

I am realtively new to Cold Fusion, but I know in ASP you can do something
with a session variable.

Thank you in advance.
