I would agree today, but at least for me, stuff like Royale looks like it may make it less frustrating. Of course...the needless animations are always going to be a problem, but animation can also have an overall positive effect on the user experience if used correctly. JB> Maybe I'm wrong. The clients will demand it sooner or later. The fact that Microsoft has cancelled standalone IE versions, effectively killing any innovation in the html UI field for at least the next 5-10 years until everyone has upgraded to Longhorn, or a better non-MS browser more of a motivational factor than the problems with Flash.
