There is nothing recorded in either the scheduler. log or the application. log file for the task in question.
Found the problem. Schedule Tasks can not run, if the template is protected in IS with anything higher the basic authentication. We had recently started using authentication to allow customization of our intranet web site content based on who is logged into the client computer.
