Strange. It doesn't do this to me. I created a 2x2 table using the
create table widget on the toolbar. No BR's. Then I input some text.
Still fine. Then I right-clicked within the table and did an Insert
Column followed by an Insert Row. Still no BR's

What were you doing that caused this? I have AE bundled into my cms and
I've never seen this or heard it brought up by a user. Just got done
making a freely translateable version of it so I'm now pretty familiar
with its insides. I'll take a peek under the hood, but tell me first
the action that generates this.

Subject: ActiveEdit 3.0 Table Problem...

I know this is slightly vaguely OT but I have not gotten a response form

anyone at cfdev other then to say that my complaint about lack of replys
to
support request e-mails was forwarded to the support department and need
to
get this long standing problem resolved...

Has anyone using ActiveEdit had a problem with the tag inserting <BR>
tags
after every </td> or </tr> tag is creates? Every page I add a table to
does this and the spaces get padded onto the page before the start of
the
containing table, resulting in all of the content being pushed off the
screen to the very bottom. Obviously not a good thing when a page looks
blank and you have to scroll down for a screen and a half to find
content.

There were several posts on their support forums asking about the same
thing but the only replies were people stating they figured it out
(without
sharing what they changed) or others asking the same question...anyone,
anyone know the answer?
