Figured out where I went astray. I had used the 52 installer. Which is the trial. D'oh! Uninstalled that and used the updater on my HS+ and all was well in the world.
after the updater CFMX tags are in there. I don't recall them being in there before. That's part of why I didn't use HS+ previously. I just tested it with CFFUNCTION and CFXML. :) all is good.
