First, have them choose a password when they first come in. When they =
return, ask them for their e-mail and password. E-mail should be a =
unique field anyways. If they choose to ignore the login and decide to =
put in new information, run a select query on your bill/ship table =
matching the e-mail addresses. If the e-mail address doesn't exist, add =
as usual; however, if the e-mail address already exists, give the user a =
warning that a user with that e-mail has already registered and that if =
they would like to have their password resent, "click here". Then, once =
they login, you give them the option to edit their information.
