Regex in Dreamweaver

I am using a regex to find a string in DreamWeaver and I thought 
 
<a href="(.*)[^"]"
 
Would return:
<a href="index.cfm/page.application"
 
but instead it returns:
<a href="index.cfm/page.application" class="more">More..</a>&nbsp;<span
class="raque">&raquo;</span></p></td>
 
Is my regex wrong or any other ideas?
