Yes, I compared the lengths. This is queried from one table and then
inserted into another. The table it is coming from originated from a
text file that CF inserted. I found one issue so far that a certain
field had a single quote in it, so I am escaping those now on the text
to SQL import.

Any one ever see this error in the browser, then copy and past the same
query in ISQLW and it works fine for an insert. Does not make sense and
I am baffled. I have checked the field types and lengths so many times
now I remember them all. The only thing I can think of is one of the
strings might have some type of control character in it. I wonder if it
might be a log issue.
