Chris, it might be that the Verity spider had some problems spidering right
the index in the collection.
I would make a purge of the collection and do a reindex. Even better is to
rebuild the collection and making a new index. Do you have access to the
admin zone for the verity collections ?
Is there enough space on the machine to run the index in the collection ?
Verity takes enormous disk-space to run properly. At least twice the space
while indexing as it is after indexing.
