Hello All,
If your CF code architecture has a single file as the
entry point, with url variables telling it what to
server up, is there really a bottle neck on busy
sites?
Let's say five simultaneous request arrive for five
different file names won't the operating system have
to get them one at a time? If true, then won't getting
the same file take no additional time. It might even
be faster because of file caching on the OS level.
Assumptions: OS Win2K server, CF 4.5 and IIS 5.
I'm no networking guru, so clarification or re
education is encouraged. Maybe I'm missing something
on the CF side of it...
Thanks,
Rick
