Has anyone experienced this before? We have a home page (default.asp) that occasionally (for no apparent reason), will return a 404 error when requested. No browser can retrieve the file even though the file is really there. I am wondering if this is an IIS 4.0 web server problem or one that might be caused by the asp engine. Stopping and restarting the web site in IIS resolves the problem temporarily, but I am looking for a proactive solution to prevent its reoccurrence.
