Help! I tried to install CF 4.5.1 on Windows 2000 new install. I followed the steps below and did the upgrade to Windows 2000 after the CF install but the CF service will not start and does not return an error. There is no error in the EventLog. Because I have only an upgrade version of CF 4.5, I had to first install CF 4.0 and then upgrade to 4.5 and 4.5.1. Does Windows 2000 require that I have a complete install version of CF 4.5? What did I do wrong? The Windows 2000 upgrade took considerably longer than half an hour.
