Last night, I got a chance to get started with Mach II at home. Very impressive, I like the way it is put together, but I was struck by a couple of things:
1) Speed. Each page took > 700 ms to generate with debugging off. This was using a slow server: Apache / XP / RedSky / Celeron 733 with 512 MB RAM. However, FB3 pages doing just about the same amount of work average ~100 ms on the same server. 2) Layouts are not part of MachII yet. Or am I missing something?
